WPL Auction 2023 will take place on February 13, 2023. The Women’s Premier League is all set to be inaugurated this year. Total 22 matches in Women’s Premier League from 4th to 26th March 2023 at Brabourne Stadium & D.Y. Patil Stadium. A total of 409 players have been shortlisted for the WPL 2023 auction, out of which 246 are Indians and the remaining 163 are from other countries. WPL Auction 2023
The date and time for the Women’s Premier League 2023 Auction has been officially released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. In the first year of WPL, there will be a total of 5 teams, each team will have 18 players, a total of 90 players are to be bought in the auction. In the WPL AUCTION 2023 to be held on February 13, 2023, 30 out of a total of 90 players will be from overseas, the BCCI has not yet announced the names of the 5 teams which are going to be part of WPL.

Initially a total of 1525 players were shortlisted for the Women Premier League 2023 after which only 409 players have been placed in the final auction list by Board of Control for Cricket in India, as we mentioned above there are 163 overseas players, out of which 8 players belong to the associate nations. There are 24 players in the final auction list whose reserve price is ₹50 lakhs, 13 out of 24 players are from other countries and the remaining are Indian.

The list of 409 players has been officially released by the BCCI, out of those 409 players, there are 24, 30, 148, 16, 191 players whose reserve prices are ₹50 lakh, ₹40 lakh, ₹30 lakh, ₹20 lakh and ₹10 lakh, respectively.
