UPSC ESE 2023 Selection Process
Selection process of Engineering Services Examinations 2023 consists of three stages, which are as follows.
- Prelims
- Mains
- Interview
The prelims exam has been conducted on 19 February 2023 at various exam centres across the country, in which thousands of candidates have participated who have applied online, those who will be able to clear Prelims will be eligible to appear in the Mains, and then those who still qualify for the second stage of the selection process will be called for the final stage i.e. Interview.
UPSC ESE Cut Off 2023
UPSC has conducted ESE 2023 (Prelims) from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm with an exam time duration of 02 and 03 hours, respectively, for Paper I and II, a total of 500 marks multiple-choice questions were asked from General Awareness & Engineering Aptitude and Domain Subject, the cut will be released for UR, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS along with the result, candidates are informed it is expected that cut off for General may be between 112 to 115 and 195 to 198 in Paper I and II, respectively.

UPSC ESE 2023 Merit List
A total of 200 and 300 questions of 1 mark each were asked from Paper I and II, respectively, in the written examination which was held in offline mode on February 19, 2023, the roll number of the candidates whose marks will be cut off or more will be available on the merit list and all those candidates will be eligible appear in the mains examination.
You must know that only those students whose names will be available on the UPSC CSE 2023 Merit List will be allowed to sit for the Mains exam which will be held on June 25, 2023.
