SAIL 2022 Education Qualification
Candidates are required to have passed Matriculation and Apprenticeship training in a recognised trade for a minimum of one year at an integrated steel plant, in addition to receiving a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from the National Council for Vocational Training.
SAIL Recruitment 2022 Age Limit
Candidates from the following groups are eligible for age relaxation: those from the Socially and Economically Backward Classes, the Physically Handicapped, and Veterans. For the positions set aside for the SC/ST group, the minimum age requirement is lowered to 18 and the maximum is lowered to 27. For the OBC (Non-creamy layer) group, there is an age relaxation of 3 years. Disabled individuals receive an additional age exemption of ten years.
SAIL Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
To be considered for the above positions, candidates must take part in a computer-based exam. 50 %ile score (for UR Category) and 40 %ile score (for SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) & PWD candidates) will be used to calculate the minimum qualifying marks in the Computer Based Examination.
Those who do well on the computer-based exam will be invited to take a skill test or trade exam in a one-to-three ratio. The Skill Test or Trade Test will only be used to determine who moves on to the next round, and the final merit list will be based only on results from the Computer-Based Test.
SAIL 2022 Recruitment Application Fees
The application fee is 200/- for all categories, including General, OBC, and EWS. Candidates who fall under the categories of SC, ST, PwD, ESM, and Departmental do not need to pay the application fee.
SAIL Recruitment 2022 Salary Structure
During the first year of training, candidates who are chosen for the post of Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 12,900/-pm, and during the second year of training, they will receive a pay of Rs.16,100/-pm.
SAIL Recruitment 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam will last for a total of ninety minutes and will consist of a total of one hundred questions to be answered. In the event that a candidate with a baseline disability who is qualified to use the facility of scribe chooses not to use the facility of scribe, they will nevertheless be granted 30 minutes of compensatory time for their disability.
