NSFAS 2023 Eligibility
To avail of the benefits of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme an individual must meet the following eligibility criteria.
- A student must be a citizen of South Africa.
- Student’s family household annual income must not be above 350,000 Rand, to prove it an individual must have SASSA recipients.
- Students must have been pursuing any degree course in a public university or TVET college.
Note: If the student is physically challenged and his household annual income is not more than 600,000 Rand then he/she can enrol to get approved for National Student Financial Aid Scheme to get benefits.
