Military Retired COLA 2023
During the high inflation in United States of America, the Government has decided to increase COLA i.e. Cost Of Living Adjustment by 8.7% for year 2023 for all retired military, it will come into force from January 01, 2023. If you are a retired personnel of the US Army, Air Force, Navy, Public Health Service, NOAA, etc, then this is going to give you a great benefit.
An average of $140 is going to increase from January 2023 for all retired military personnel, in 2023 the Social Security benefits is $1,681 which will be $1,827 from January 2023. Retired military personnel of 66 or 67 year, will get Social Security benefits of $2,972, which is currently only $2,734. Retired couples are going to get $2,972 instead of $2,734 from January 2023.
