The MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test), a state-level entrance test, is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra to candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and graduate programmes at a number of Maharashtra colleges.

Seat Allotment Options Available After CAP-3

Self-Freeze: Candidates who receive a seat that is not their first choice, however, can freeze that seat by paying the acceptance fee and will then be ineligible to take part in further rounds of seat allocations.
Auto-Freeze: Candidates who receive a seat according to their first preference must pay the seat acceptance fee and will be ineligible to take part in subsequent rounds of allotment.
Not Freeze – Candidates who are given a seat that is not their first choice and would want a better seat must choose the “Not Freeze” option and pay the seat acceptance fee online using their login.
