GATE 2023 Exam Schedule has been officially released by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Exam is going to take place on 04, 05, 11 and 12 February 2023 in two shifts from 09:30 am to 12:30 pm and 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm. Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will release the GATE 2023 Admit Card on 03rd January 2023. Candidates who are going to appear in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023 will have to visit the official website, https://gate.iitk.ac.in/, to download the GATE Hall Ticket 2023 aspirants will have to provide thier GOAPS Enrollment ID and Password. 

GATE Exam Pattern 2023

Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2023. Checkout the listed points and know all about the exam pattern.

  • Exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode.
  • There will be a total time duration of 03 hours i.e. 180 minutes to touch maximum number of asked questions. 
  • A total number of 65 questions will be asked, out of total, 55  questions will be from Core Subject and 10 questions will be asked General Aptitude.
  • In the CBT Exam, Multiple Choice Questions, Multiple Select Questions, Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions will be asked.
  • There will be provision of negative marking system only for MCQs, for 1 and 2 Mark questions, ⅓ and ⅔ mark will be deducted, respectively.
