The Franchise Tax Board initially announced that California Inflation Relief Checks would be issued to all eligible individuals between October 2022 and January 2023, but those who had changed the banking information or address before the last tax file are still waiting for the relief check to be delivered. It is estimated that those who have not yet received their Middle Class Tax Refunds can get it by February 2023.
California Inflation Relief Checks

An individual and couple who earned $250,000 or below and $500,000 or below in 2020 are eligible to get CALIFORNIA INFLATION RELIEF CHECKS. If you have not yet received it, expect it to be delivered by the end of this month. According to the Franchise Tax Board, more than 95% people have received their Middle Class Tax Refunds in the form of cheque and debit card by January 2023.
As of first week of February 2023, 7,192,946 direct deposit and 9,408,036 debit card were issued. 31,650,087 individual and their dependents has received the benefits of Middle Class tax refunds. Those who have not yet received California Inflation Relief Checks 2023 must know that only those are getting it who have filed 2020 tax return by October 15, 2021.
When I get my MCTR Check?
This information is publicly available on the official website of the Franchise Tax Board that the middle class tax refund will be received by the individuals or couple as direct deposit or debit card, Majority of MCTR payments already issued, and some people are expected to receive it here on or before February 14, 2023, FTB has informed people through their website that if their payment is not received by the due date, eligible one can get information regarding this by calling the customer support number.
GSS I or II direct deposit recipients and Non-GSS recipients was to get their California Inflation Relief checks between 7 and 25 October 2022 and 28 October and 14 November 2022, respectively.
